All fine architectural values are human values, else not valuable.
      - Frank Lloyd Wright

David Wilkerson, AIA, NCARB, LEED accredited professional, Principal

David Wilkerson brings a collaborative, client-focused approach to every project.  Architecture has been David’s lifelong passion since the age of five, when he was presented with his first set of Lincoln Logs.  Later that same year, he built a tree house with friends, using cast-off construction materials, ingenuity, and a firm belief that nothing is impossible.  That belief continues today, and is reflected in his enthusiasm for finding the best solution to every design problem.

A strong communicator, David is able to capture the vision of the client’s needs, and to translate that vision into a built product through careful coordination of the design process from concept to completion.  His experience encompasses a wide range of project types, including churches, financial institutions, government agencies, entertainment facilities, and corporate offices.  With over twenty years of varied experience, including practice in Virginia and New York City, David brings a strong grasp of every aspect of professional practice, from programming through design to construction administration.

A firm believer that architecture should “give something back” to the community, David is active in many professional and civic organizations, and as a LEED accredited professional is a strong proponent of environmentally sustainable design and development.
