Cascade Village is
planned to be a new mixed-use neighborhood , marketed
primarily to the area’s exploding senior population, on
the site of a former mobile home community at the
northern edge of Bend. The site is adjacent to the
Juniper Ridge, a new 1,200ac planned unit development
being developed by the City.
ORW has envisioned Cascade Village as a self-contained
community, providing a wide range of residential living
choices and a village center featuring retail and
commercial office opportunities. Available housing
options range from independent living in smaller
zero-lot line single family homes, townhouses, and
clusters of smaller cottages, to live-work units and
flats in both independent and assisted living settings.
A village clubhouse will provide a community gathering
place and recreational activities to the residents.
The architecture of the development will feature
buildings with contemporary references to the
established building traditions of the Northwest. Modern
detailing with a Craftsman eye and a nod to the unique,
high-desert setting.
