The Oregon coast residence was intended as a weekend and summer retreat from the heat of the Rogue Valley. The home perches on the edge of a narrow point jutting into the Pacific Ocean with panoramic views of the northern California coast. A smaller ’retreat’ and study located on the very tip of the point is a private, more intimate beach experience with nearly 360-degree views of the seascape and mountain backdrop.

The home features a great room open to the views and a large fireplace mass which anchors the center of the house. The master bedroom takes in views of the point and ocean beyond, while a ‘bunkhouse’ with two smaller guest bedrooms sits to the rear.
