Craterian Ginger Rogers Theatre, Medford OR

This project involved a complete remodel of the 1926 run-down concrete theater into a contemporary 780-seat multi-purpose performing arts center. Three quarters of the original structure was replaced in order to meet current building codes and to provide a facility that would permit the flexibility essential to a modern theater. The new 27,000-square-foot, three-story facility houses a below-stage performer's area, continental seating in the orchestra and balcony, a three-section control room on the main level, and an orchestra pit with space for a future hydraulic lift. The upper level features a beautiful lobby, comfortable lounges, office areas, restrooms, and a rehearsal room.
