This project is an
adaptive reuse of a bank into new offices for a real
estate agency. The largely open floor plan was
reconfigured to offer a suite of private offices for the
agency’s brokers as well as a number of open office and
work areas, new conference rooms, closing rooms, and a
new public reception area.
A public approach was reconfigured adding a new covered
canopy area orienting the building more strongly to the
street and giving the project a more cohesive sense of
entry. The existing brick cladding and full-height
glazing were augmented with new wood and metal
sunshades, enlivening the facade as well as shielding
the windows.
