The Poplar Station
multi-family housing project is a 65-unit, mixed use
residential facility. The target market for these new
market-rate and affordable flats will be the active
senior population. The building will include retail and
office space (medical) on the ground floor, as well as a
full range of amenities including a fitness center,
community rooms, and a sundeck on the upper floors.
Residents will enjoy secured underground parking and
public entries.
The units range in size from about 800sf for a 1 bedroom
unit, up to 1,400sf for the largest of the 3 bedroom
units. The building reflects the larger development’s
modern reinterpretation of the station’s original forest
and lodge inspired architecture. Prominent rooflines
rise above textural wall claddings and wood accents, all
grounded by the strength and solidity of the stone base.
