Southern Oregon
University has a vibrant theater arts program, but has
struggled to keep up with current trends in pedagogy and
technical advances given the campuses’ aging theater
facility. This project seeks to bring the University’s
teaching and technical facilities up to the current
state of the art. The addition provides much needed
spaces for rehearsal and teaching as well as new shops
for prop and costume design and preparation. The remodel
will bring the whole facility into the present and
prepare it for the future of theater and performing arts
instruction.
